Foreign Section / Admission Procedure for Foreign Students
At our medical college, we welcome students from around the world, including a significant number from India and Nepal. We understand that the admissions process can be daunting for international students, and we are committed to making it as straightforward and transparent as possible.
Fees and Others
A booking/enrollment fee of $2,000 USD is compulsory for all foreign students. Please ensure this amount is transferred directly to the Gazi Medical College official account to finalize your admission process.

- After initial discussion, the College authority will send an official email from foreignstudentsectiongmc@gmail.com.
- Besides the mentioned fees, students must pay all other fees (registration, examination, DGME registration, equivalency certificate, etc.) as per the rules of DGME, BM&DC, and the Ministry of Health, Bangladesh.
Eligibility
Criteria for Admission of Foreign Students in MBBS Non-Govt Medical Colleges (Session 2022–23)
A) Equivalence of Foreign Degree
- Must have passed qualifying examinations HSC/A-level or equivalent.
- SSC/O-level or equivalent examination passed not before four years of the current academic year.
- HSC/A-level or equivalent examination passed not before two years of the current academic year.
- Minimum aggregate GPA in SSC/O-level and HSC/A-level: 7.00.
- Minimum GPA in Biology: 4.0 out of 5.0 scale.
- For SSC/O-level GPA calculation, top 5 subjects are considered.
- For HSC/A-level GPA calculation, only Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are considered.
- All certificates must be duly attested by competent authorities (Education & Foreign Ministries).
- Original academic certificates, admit cards, and mark sheets must be produced at admission.
Visa Requirements
Foreign students admitted to our medical college must obtain a student visa to study in Bangladesh. Our International Student Services team can assist with the visa application process and provide the necessary support.
