I feel immense pleasure that my dream of establishing a private medical college has become reality. My vision is to make Gazi Medical College a centre of excellence for medical education and research where students from any country can study and become highly qualified doctors with MBBS degree to fulfill their country needs. The doctor-patient ratio is still inadequate in our country of 160 million people and a lot of highly qualified doctors are needed.

Gazi Medical College is now running smoothly and undergoing further development. I would like to express my gratitude to all the members of the college governing body, the principal & vice principal, all the teachers and general staffs of the college for their moral, intellectual, continuous support and suggestions. I also thank to the students who are playing the vital role for sparking the name of the college by their brilliant and outstanding results. I am also grateful to the government of Bangladesh specially Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, DGHS, Rajshahi University, BM&DC and our well-wishers for their constant inspiration.

A running hospital with a lot of indoor and outdoor patients is needed for learning of the students and young doctors. It is our pride and good news for students who will come to study at Gazi Medical College that we have a well-reputed hospital of more than 25 years of quality medical services. Gazi Medical College Hospital has got about 500 beds and is under process of further expansion, which will help students as well as doctors to enrich themselves with knowledge as we have highly qualified faculty members.

I would like to welcome the upcoming batch of MBBS students to Gazi Medical College and wish them success for their study leading to MBBS degree.

We are committed for the betterment of the people and to produce quality doctors for our country and the world.
